DICE to highlight upcoming military shooter during German show later this month; presentation slated for August 21.
DICE will show off an all-new Battlefield 4 map and game mode during Gamescom later this month, the developer announced today on Twitter.
"See an all-new #BF4 map and game mode in action during the Gamescom live stream," the developer wrote.
The live stream will take place Wednesday, August 21 beginning at 8:15 a.m. EDT. GameSpot will be on-hand at Gamescom all week. The show runs through August 25.
DICE recently revealed new details about the multiplayer component for Battlefield 4 and reiterated that the studio's hope for the mode is for it to be open-ended and player-driven.
Battlefield 4 launches for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on October 29. Versions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are also in development.
