The conflict in Battlefield 1942 heated up today when EA released a new update for the best-selling WWII action title. Patch v1.5 includes an all-new Invasion of the Philippines scenario based on the 1941 Japanese invasion of the archipelago nation and the American re-invasion in 1944.

Besides the new battle map, the patch includes a new tropical-camouflage skin for the US Marine Corps, two high-speed naval vessels (the American Elco 80 PT Boat and the Japanese Type 38 coastal craft), and the M1 Garand rifle.

Besides the Philippine map, the v1.5 BF1942 Patch also contains several bug fixes and enhancements. Gamers who've already installed v1.45 can install just the latest fixes, while older patch owners can download the full version from the links below.
