New Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Posters Focus on the DC Trinity

The title of the film may only include two superheroes, but the recent trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice indicated that Wonder Woman would play a fairly prominent role too. Three new character posters for the movie have now been released that put her alongside Batman and Superman, forming DC's so-called Trinity. Check them out below:

In a recent interview with 411 Mania, director Zack Snyder explained that much of his intention with the film was to bring these three iconic heroes together on a movie screen for the first time. "We're working toward Justice League," he said. "The part of the thing I really want to create is the possibility of a world where they could exist together.

"I think up to this point, it's been difficult to suggest a world where Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman and others could exist in the same universe. That was one of the things I really wanted to try and get at."

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will open on March 25, 2016. It stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, and Laurence Fishburne.
