The latest series of popular horror anthology show American Horror Story is subtitled "Double Feature," and apparently for very literal reasons. The latest teaser trailer showcases both of the parts that will make up the double billing, and gives some hints as to what they'll be about. And, unsurprisingly, it's really, really weird.

Take a look at the new teaser now.

We're apparently headed for, uh, shark monster vampires and literal aliens this year. Why not, right?

Part one will be called "Red Tide" and feature the aforementioned shark people while part two will be called "Death Valley," about little grey men. At some point, based on the admittedly surreal visuals in the teaser, we can expect the two worlds to collide when the aliens abduct a shark monster and create what looks like a hybrid between the two. It's all very Aliens vs. Predator when you really think about it, but done in a way that only Ryan Murphy could pull off.

AHS: Double Feature will feature AHS fan favorites like Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Finn Wittrock, Billie Lourd, and Lily Rabe as well as newcomer Macaulay Culkin. The show will debut on August 25 on FX, streaming the following day on FX on Hulu.
