New Allied Assault details
Electronic Arts releases new screens and information from its World War II first-person shooter.
Several new screenshots from the World War II first-person shooter, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, have been released, showing some familiar and new environments. There are two shots of the French city and a bridge scene that will look familiar to fans of Saving Private Ryan. In addition, there are two shots illustrating a base area and the player's ability to destroy objects within the environment. Medal of Honor: Allied Assault includes 22 different types of enemies, 18 enemy vehicles, and 21 weapons to take them out--including Thompson submachine guns, Mark II Frag grenades, flame throwers, sticky bombs, and a .50 caliber mounted machine gun. An assortment of interactive vehicles like M4 Sherman Tank, are also available. As far as multiplayer in concerned, Allied Assault will feature team combat and deathmatch modes.
