Electronic Arts and Rogue Entertainment have released new information about their upcoming action game American McGee's Alice. According to this morning's release, the game takes place in Wonderland after Alice has grown up and the evil Queen of Hearts has taken control of the world. Alice will encounter challenging and dangerous enemies including the Mad Hatter, the Caterpillar, and Tweedledee and Tweedledum. To help her in her fight against evil, Alice's toys have become deadly weapons.

Alice's tea party spoon has turned into a razor-sharp knife, and her playing cards have become powerful projectile weapons. Her set of jacks will now seek and destroy anything in its vicinity as long as the rubber ball is bouncing, and her jack-in-the-box has turned into a time bomb. Another weapon in her arsenal is the croquet mallet, with which the heroine can strike enemies within range or launch croquet balls at distant opponents. In addition, Alice has a magic ice wand and a set of demon dice at her disposal. The ice wand can be used to freeze and shatter enemies or to set up a protective wall of ice. The demon dice are used to summon demons to fight against Alice's enemies, but if they find nothing to fight, the summoned demons will turn on Alice herself.
