New 16GB Ouya revision out now, promises better controller and storage

Better storage for what? Shitty games I can play on my phone? How about you make some games for it that are actually good and exclusive.

Okay, as cool of an idea the Ouya was, I believe everyone who actually wanted one of these purchased the original and sold it after a week. Seriously, I am seeing tons of preowned Ouyas for sale both at my local Game store and online for about £50-£60 ($100) There is no way this console can compete against the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and even the Wii U! A bigger storage space and an "improved" controller won't cut the deal for many gamers.

I was more curious if they were going to update to a Tegra 4 or Tegra K1 processors or not...

come on people "ouya" is not 'the real' console, the price alone is a dead give a way, but it would be nice to own, i think it has all the google playstore games, and a growing exclusive library, i'd say the ouya is like the lil engine that could, whether it sinks or swim is yet to be seen

i think its also due to the fact it was released waaaaaay toooo late, it should have released during the height/hype of angry birds (now i'm not saying the entire console should be based off 1 game, but as much as no one wants to praise that game, you can't deny its ginormous success), and they shoulda made it an exclusive, but now, angry birds died down and its multiplat, android fans kind of faded into obscurity, and its not even released worldwide yet

i'd still buy one if its around the 100 - 120 pricerange

thats pretty cheap for a console, i'm sure everyone with an android phone has his/her fav game, so it would nice to play it on the big screen and carry it around because its portable and a proper controller (i see people playing SF4 on their phones, thats crazy, i can't even throw 3 hadokens in a row) so yeah someone is gonna say you can hook your phone to the tv, download 3rd party apps for controllers and all that except i've never seen anyone do that or look into it, so i think the ouya bridges the gap and in that sense i'd support them

I like it in matte black. The controller being all black looks much better and far less cheap/tacky than the grey/silver version with the black touch area in the middle. In terms of pure design it now actually looks like a serious console.

I want it :(

had to admit the games on it is kinda tempting. is that jumping frog game released on google play store or the ios app store ?

What they really need is a more updated mobile GPU chipset, along with a slew of nice games for the system. I understand they're not trying to take down or compete much against bigger console companies and just more catering to a "microconsole" niche, but still, even for that niche, the things that needed more focus was an updated mobile GPU as well as a selection of games built just for OUYA rather than just being largely second-hand smartphone games.
