Infogrames and BioWare have announced that Neverwinter Nights, their ambitious role-playing game, has shipped and will soon be available in stores. The game is set in the Forgotten Realms medieval fantasy universe, and it is based on the 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons rules. In addition to an extensive single-player campaign, which the developer estimates will take 60-100 hours to complete, the game features an innovative dungeon master system that lets players create and run adventures for dozens of other players in its multiplayer mode.

Neverwinter Nights will be available in stores this week for a suggested retail price of $59.99. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game and stay tuned for our full review next week.
