On February 25, a new era in Vikings will arrive on Netflix. Titled Vikings: Valhalla, the series takes place 100 years after the conclusion of the original Vikings show. A new video from Netflix sets the tone for the series, which features a whole lot of brewing conflict.

Vikings: Valhalla will deal heavily with vikings feuding with each other, except one side is Pagan and the other side is Christian. In the video, which you can see below, Sam Corlett (Leif Eriksson), Frida Gustavsson (Freydis Eriksdotter), and showrunner Jeb Staurt discuss this and what else you can expect from the upcoming show.

Over the course of eight, one-hour episodes, we'll see how this all unfolds. The series follows Eriksson, his sister Eriksdotter, and the Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter). Much like the original Vikings series, much of the conflict will arise because of tensions between cultures. In Valhalla, the vikings will feud with themselves, splitting the group between Pagans and Christians.

The series also stars Bradley Freegard, Jóhannes Jóhannesson, Laura Berlin, David Oakes, and Caroline Henderson. Stuart will executive produce alongside Morgan O’Sullivan, Michael Hirst, Sheila Hockin, Steve Stark, James Flynn, John Weber, Sherry Marsh and Alan Gasmer.

Valhalla is a spin-off of History Channel/Amazon Prime Video's Vikings series, which ran for six seasons. Vikings showrunner Hirst discussed why he chose to end the show after six seasons. "I had to give these various storylines a satisfying conclusion--a conclusion that didn't cheat in any way," he explained. "And I felt that if I could come up with endings that were satisfactory and felt justified, then the audience would hopefully feel the same because I love these characters so much and it was very important to me."

Hirst also serves as EP on Valhalla. The final trailer for Vikings: Valhalla debuted in early February, weeks ahead of its February 25 release date.
