Netflix has finally released the first full trailer for its live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop, the action-packed space western about three bounty hunters. Season 1 of the series premieres on Netflix on November 19.

According to an official description from Netflix, Cowboy Bebop is a live-action take on the iconic anime "about three bounty hunters, aka 'cowboys,' all trying to outrun the past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals--for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them." Feast your eyes on the first footage from the series below.

The November debut has been a long time coming--news that the live-action adaptation was in development first came out back in 2017. Once things were cleanly on track and seemed to be smooth sailing, the production then had to contend with a knee injury Cho sustained in October 2019--which delayed production by about eight months, and by then, things were increasingly slowed due to the pandemic.

Season 1 of Cowboy Bebop premieres on Netflix on November 19. To help tide you over, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the Cowboy Bebop anime, which Netflix recently rolled out on its service. You can also check out everything else that's newly coming to Netflix here.
