Netflix has debuted its first trailer for the live action Avatar: The Last Airbender series--and it looks magical. Get a look at Aang, Sokka, Katara, and even Appa and Momo in their live action debuts ahead of the show's release on February 22.

The teaser trailer and release date were revealed as part of Netflix's Geeked Week. As well as the main trio of Aang, Katara, and Sokka, the trailer also gives us glimpses of the Fire Nation's Zuko, Uncle Iroh, Azula, and the Fire Lord himself, Ozai. We also get to see the Kyoshi Warrior Suki, and a hint at her romance with Sokka.

The trailer is also filled with sweeping landscape shots that show off some iconic locations from the early seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender, including Omashu, the South Pole, the Fire Nation's Royal Palace, and the volcanic Crescent Island

Despite being a minute and a half long, the clip is still referred to as a teaser, meaning we can expect a meatier full trailer for the series sometime soon.

The cast for the live action series includes Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio Tarbell as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as General Iroh, Dallas James Liu as Prince Zuko, and Elizabeth Yu as Princess Azula. The series also has an extensive supporting cast, with a few actors reprising roles from the animated series--including the iconic cabbage merchant.
