Netflix has released a new teaser trailer for That '90s Show, an upcoming sequel period teen sitcom featuring characters from That '70s Show. The show is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on January 19, 2023.

A synopsis reads: "It's 1995 and Leia Forman is desperate for some adventure in her life or at least a best friend who isn't her dad. When she arrives in Point Place to visit her grandparents, Red and Kitty, Leia finds what she's looking for right next door when she meets the dynamic and rebellious Gwen. With the help of Gwen's friends, including her lovable brother Nate, his smart, laser-focused girlfriend Nikki, the sarcastic and insightful Ozzie, and the charming Jay, Leia realizes adventure could happen there just like it did for her parents all those years ago. Excited to reinvent herself, she convinces her parents to let her stay for the summer. With a basement full of teens again, Kitty is happy the Forman house is now a home for a new generation and Red is, well... Red." Check out the new trailer below.

That '90s Show stars Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, Callie Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Donovan, Reyn Doi, and Sam Morelos. Stars from the original confirmed to be returning as special guest stars include Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Wilmer Valderrama, and Tommy Chong. Also returning are creators Bonnie and Terry Turner, working with their daughter Lindsey Turner. That '90s Show's showrunner is Gregg Mettler.

That '70s Show ran for 200 episodes across eight seasons. The show began on Fox in 1998 and ended in 2006. The sequel series takes place roughly 15 years after the original ended on December 31, 1979. Here's hoping a sequel series to That '80s Show isn't far behind.
