The Need for Speed movie is being produced by DreamWorks Studios and will star one-time Batman Michael Keaton alongside Aaron Paul, who plays Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad. The plot features a street racer taking part in a cross-country race to get revenge on an ex-business partner, who places a contact on his head as the event begins.

The Need for Speed movie is due to be released in March 2014, and is being directed by former stuntman Scott Waugh. The film has already begun filming in Mendocino County, California.

Swedish studio Ghost (formerly EA Gothenburg) has said it is working on a new Need for Speed video game.

Macon also recently featured in Telltale Games' adventure game adaptation of The Walking Dead.
