NBA 2K23 Preorders Are Live, And There Are 5 Editions To Choose From

NBA 2K23 releases September 9 for PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC.

NBA 2K23 releases on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC on September 9, so we're only about two months away from returning to the court. Preorders are available now, and there are a bunch of preorder bonuses up for grabs that make it worthwhile to reserve your copy. Here’s a closer look at all (five) editions available and where you can sign up for a preorder. Only a few storefronts are currently listing NBA 2K23, so be sure to check back in the coming weeks if you don’t see your retailer of choice listed below. Heads up: If you watch a lot of NBA games, you'll definitely want to consider the $150 Championship Edition. It comes with a 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass, which is an awesome $15/month subscription that lets you watch every game across the entire league.

Regardless of which version of NBA 2K23 you reserve, you’ll benefit from the following preorder bonuses.

  • 5,000 Virtual Currency
  • 5,000 MyTEAM Points
  • 10 MyTEAM Promo Packs (delivered one a week)
  • A Boost for each MyCAREER Skill type
  • A Boost for each Gatorade Boost type
  • Devin Booker MyPLAYER Jersey
  • 95 Rated Devin Booker MyTEAM Free Agent Card

There don't seem to be any retailer-exclusive bonuses as the moment (aside from the WNBA version sold exclusively at GameStop), although that could change as we get closer to NBA 2K23's launch on September 9.

We're still waiting to get a first look at NBA 2K23. Every new installment in the series usually comes with new gameplay features and improvements as well as updated visuals, but beyond that nothing is really known about the upcoming title. Stay tuned for more details.
