The first Naruto Shippuden Blu-ray box set launched earlier this week, and you can grab it at a discount right now. Both Amazon and Walmart are selling the set for $40 (down from $50). This direct sequel to Naruto chronicles the tale of Uzumaki Naruto on his journey to become the top ninja of his village, the friends he makes along the way, and the radical terrorist shinobi outfit that he battles as he learns more about himself. If you're not the biggest fan of sand, you might want to be wary because this first season has a lot of it.

In this set, all 27 episodes from the first series are available in crisp 1080p video with both English and Japanese audio tracks. That's 27 episodes in total or around 650 minutes of content. This particular arc is still a fan-favorite, as it takes place after a lengthy time-skip that saw Naruto's first major clash with Akatsuki, as he and his team faced off against the puppet-master Sasori and anarchist artist Deidara.

As for the extras, this set includes storyboards, clean versions of the opening and ending sequences, an art gallery, trailers, and a small documentary focused on the show's voice actors.

On the video game side, a compilation of Naruto's Ultimate Ninja Storm games will be headed to PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One next month. Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is one massive collection of the games that have been remixed into a package that includes brand-new content that chronicles what happened in the aftermath of the cataclysmic Fourth Ninja World War.
