Napoleon Dynamite and Pedro Reunited in New Burger King Ad for Tater Tots of Course

Here's something pretty cool. In a bid to promote its new Cheesy Tots, fast food giant Burger King has released a new advertisement starring the characters Napoleon Dynamite (John Heder) and Pedro (Efren Ramirez) from the 2004 comedy Napoleon Dynamite.

"The comeback of the decade is here," Burger King wrote in the video's description, which applies to both Napoleon Dynamite and the new tots. The food item, which features a crispy outside and a mixture of potatoes and cheese on the inside, was discontinued in 2009, according to Business Insider, before being recently revived for a new limited-time promotion. This is obviously a nod to the character Napoleon Dynamite's love for tater tots--he loves them so much he stuffs them into his pocket and eats them during class.

The new Burger King spot was produced by Honor Society; the director is Lucas Spaulding.
