Gamers bored with the generally battle-free environment of most museums are in luck today, as Namco has shipped Namco Museum Battle Collection for the PSP to store shelves.

Featuring more than 20 games, Namco Museum Battle Collection offers faithful arcade ports of classics like Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga, as well as a handful of remixed "arrangement" versions of those games--with updated graphics and multiplayer modes for up to four players--designed to take advantage of the PSP's hardware and wireless capabilities. Players will also be able to wirelessly transfer portions of games to other PSPs.

While the compilation was released in Japan earlier this year, the North American edition of the game contains an additional 10 games that weren't in the overseas version, including Xevious, Boconian, Mappy, and Rolling Thunder.

Namco Museum Battle Collection is rated E for Everyone and retails for $39.99. Check back with GameSpot tomorrow for a full review.
