Namco Bandai Singapore to host SoulCalibur V tournament this March
The event will be in collaboration with local SoulCalibur community organisation.
Update:According to Namco Bandai, the winner will not be sent to Namco Bandai's Level Up event in Las Vegas, but instead to SoulCalibur Impact 2012 in London, United Kingdom. The article is updated to reflect this change.
With SoulCalibur V close to its release date of January 31, 3D fighting-game fans can rejoice, as well as sharpen their skills, on the sequel for future game tournaments. Planning ahead, Namco Bandai Partners Singapore and Singapore SoulCalibur community Soul Singapore will be hosting an upcoming tournament on March 3 in Singapore.
The winner of the tournament will get an all-expenses paid trip to compete in the SoulCalibur V tournament grand finals at Namco Bandai's SoulCalibur Impact 2012 event in London, United Kingdom, on March 17. Other prizes in the event include PlayStation 3 consoles, official fighting sticks from the game, and the collector's edition of SoulCalibur V. Participants who registered will be able to participate in the event's raffle. Side competitions also include a beginner's tournament and a Create-a-Soul competition. The event will be held at E2 Max at the Cathay Cineleisure building on Orchard Road.
