According to Japanese site FujiSankei Business i, Namco and Bandai are planning to release games for Nintendo's next-generation Revolution console. The two companies are only just beginning to plan for the console. Nothing is official yet.

Their participation would mean that Nintendo will have at least three powerful publishers supporting its next-generation console. One of those three, Square Enix, announced during pre-E3 presentations that it will release a new Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicle for the console.

Namco and Bandai will be merging as of September 29, when they will join operations and form a holding company to be known as Namco Bandai Holdings Inc.
