Music 3 to feature Timo Maas and Paul Oakenfold

UK-based Jester Interactive today announced that it has signed a deal with Perfecto Records that will see Music 3, the sequel to MTV Music Generator 2 , featuring tracks from artists including Timo Maas and Paul Oakenfold.

"Music is not simply about selling records at retail; this is a rare opportunity for a games publisher and record label to work successfully together in order to provide games users with a unique and fun tool and more importantly enhance the gaming experience with quality music and credible artists," said Martin Bales, head of licensing at Perfecto Records. "Perhaps this software will provide the chance for the next Timo or Oakenfold to emerge."

Tracks confirmed for inclusion in Music 3 to date include "Starry Eyed Surprise" and "Ready Steady Go" from Paul Oakenfold, along with Timo Maas' "To Get Down."
