MSN Plans Fighter Sweep

Microsoft has announced a new scenario for its online multiplayer flight simulation, Fighter Ace, on the MSN Gaming Zone.

Fighter Sweep will commence on January 3, 1999, and last from 12 noon to 4 P.M PST. Historically the scenario takes place in the summer of 1944 as the Allies are trying to break out of Normandy. The Allies will attempt to carpet bomb their way out, while the Germans must sweep the skies clean of the Allies.

Sign-up has already started, and Microsoft anticipates more than six hundred flyers during the scenario.
