"Mortal Kombat XL and Kombat Pack 2 will available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only," NetherRealm community manager Tyler Landsdown said in the TestYourMight forums.

The first Kombat Pack, which introduced Jason Voorhees, Predator, Tanya, and Tremor, was released for PC, as well as Xbox One and PS4, in 2014. Right now it's unclear why NetherRealm is not supporting the PC edition with further content.

GameSpot has contacted Warner Bros. in an attempt to get more details. We'll update this post with anything we might hear back.

This wouldn't be the first time NetherRealm did not support one version of a multiplatform game with DLC.

Mortal Kombat XL Edition launches on March 1 for PS4 and Xbox One. It includes all of the DLC characters and skins from Kombat Pack 1, along with Kombat Pack 2 characters Leatherface, Xenomorph, Bo Rai Cho, and Tri-Borg.

Mortal Kombat X launched in April 2015 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC and has reportedly sold more than 5 million copies. The game's Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions were canceled.
