Mortal Kombat 11 Arrives On Google Stadia This Fall
November is looking ripe.
With Gamescom 2019 upon us, Google has unveiled a bevy of announcements during its Stadia Connect presentation. Developer NetherRealm Studios took command of the livestream for a moment to reveal that Mortal Kombat 11 debuts on Google Stadia this November.
No definitive release date was provided, but the cloud gaming platform launches in the same month, making November a jam-packed month for video games. Some highly anticipated titles arrive that month, including Doom Eternal, Pokemon Sword / Shield, and Shenmue III. Newly-announced Need for Speed Heat, which got a new gameplay trailer, also lands in November.
Earlier this month, NetherRealm dropped a Nightwolf reveal trailer. While he retains a lot of his signature style from previous Mortal Kombat games, it seems Nightwolf gets a few additions to his kit. Namely, Nightwolf can summon spirit animals which enhance his abilities.
In other Google Stadia news, CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 has been confirmed to launch on Google Stadia. Only a "Coming Soon" window was announced, so it's unclear if Google Stadia will see the first-person RPG on April 16, 2020. The developers did reveal that its previous action-RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, releases this October.
There's still plenty of Gamescom to go around, so check out the hub to catch up on all the latest news as it happens.
