Target will be the only retailer to sell the Jigglypuff Amiibo, according to a post on its website. Meanwhile, you'll need to shop at GameStop to pick up a new Ness Amiibo.

Retailer-exclusive Amiibo toys are par for the course at this point.

Other exclusives include Shulk (GameStop), Meta Knight (Best Buy), Lucario (Toys 'R Us), and Gold Mario (Walmart).

The new Jigglypuff and Ness toys go on sale starting May 29. Others in the new wave include Pac-Man, Charizard, Wario, and more. See the full lineup here.

As of February, Nintendo had sold more than 5.7 million Amiibo toys. By comparison, Call of Duty publisher Activision has sold in excess of 240 million Skylanders toys so far, though of course this franchise was the first on the scene while Amiibo is just getting started.

GameSpot may get a commission from retail offers.
