TOKYO - In an interview with Japanese video-game magazine Play Online, Microsoft's video-game division's general manager Ed Fries spoke about the company's commitment to the Dreamcast as a game developer.

"As you probably know, Ages of Empires and other games are being ported to . Those are being handled by Psygnosis and we aren't sure about the status of their development right now."

It was strongly believed that Microsoft was developing not just an operating system but also games for the Dreamcast. But this was the first official word confirming this rumor.
