It takes place in China different culture. Not all women kick ass or want to, or want to be/force something that they are not. I do agree there are women that can, but thats the minority. Sleeping Dogs has an 81% on Metacritic. It seems that not many journalists found it boring at all. Also, for your claim about sexism...just so you know the game DOES take place in Hong Kong (and its sovereign state China) are not known for their liberal views on sex.

There are lots of games that don't allow you to choose a gender. If you only want to play a game where you choose your characters sex you will be missing out on many fun and unique games that are available.

Also, you read A article and believe that to be the absolute truth? I, honestly, haven't played the game, but I know better than to simply trust one opinionated source instead of reading other reviews or, I don't know, playing the game essentially for free?

It's a great game I bought it on release through Steam and now I have the Definitive Edition for FREE thanks to MS generous games with gold! Your comments seem so outdated, Sleeping Dogs is a great game. If chicks want big roles in games then they should start making them because not many guys are interested in doing it. Your whining about it isn't going to slow sales or change a thing it may even increase sales. Make a game about a 9 year old Indian girl ruling the kickboxing world, watch how it sells.

I'd advise not bringing your feminist attitude to video-gaming. Sports and Video-games are two areas it will get a brutal reception.

@Faye_Tallity: I don't what to tell you. Sleeping Dogs and Outlast are widely regarded are very good games. As someone who owns and completed both, IMO both are worthy of praise. Maybe you just don't like them, which is fine, but that clears a massive swath of similarly well-regarded games that you would not like either.

As for females competing with men on any physical level (be it sports or street brawls) you may have fallen victim to hallucinogens.

@me3639: According to sales charts, lots of people were buying Gears of War 4 and Forza Horizon 3. They remained in the top 10 for awhile, even with insane competition. Sounds like xbox and their gamers are doing just fine.

@Keivz_basic: Yeah, you get to keep them but, unfortunately, you can only play them as long as you're subscribed to Gold. Oh, and if you haven't already, you should snag Lost Odyssey while it's free too.

@kahluakhris: None of these games could be considered triple A. Outlast is an indie game (which was given away free on PSN during the first month the PS4 came out, by the way) and Burnout is 7 years old and a last gen game. Granted you can play it on X1, but it's not a current gen triple A game. In reality both services have given away about the same amount in terms of triple A games this gen. I agree with you to a point though. We were getting great games for the PS3 a couple of years ago; they have gone right down hill now.
