Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak's Title Update 4 is coming on February 7, and it brings new monsters, layered armor, and event quests to the game, all for free. Most notably, it'll introduce Velkhana to the mix, who was the flagship monster of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, and it'll certainly pose a challenge to even veteran hunters.

TU4 will also add yet another Valstrax variant to Sunbreak, this time known as Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax. Though you can face Velkhana at MR 10, you'll have to be MR 160 to take on this new Valstrax, so get hunting.

Those who love grinding endgame content will be happy to know that Afflicted Chaotic Gore Magala will join Anomaly investigations for the first time, and that the cap has now risen to 220. Elder Dragons will now appear from difficulty 111, so definitely watch out for that, as they can be quite tough to fight. New event quests will challenge you to fight Seething Bazelgeuse and Chaotic Gore Magala at the same time, and each one has its own unique reward.

On the paid DLC front, TU4 adds new layered armor for Lance Gunn and Ran Page, as well as a Minoto-themed set, as well as new gestures, poses, stickers, and music. Monster Hunter Rise recently came to Xbox and PlayStation in January, so definitely check it out. It's also on Game Pass, so you don't have an excuse anymore.
