Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate coming to Europe and US on Wii U and 3DS
Latest entry in the Monster Hunter franchise to support cross-platform multiplayer and save game transfer across Wii U and 3DS.
Capcom's Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate--known as Monster Hunter 3G in Japan--is coming to the Wii U and 3DS in March 2013, Nintendo revealed today. The game will support cross-platform multiplayer over the Internet or via a local Wi-Fi connection.
Players who own the 3DS and Wii U will be able to transfer their save files between both systems, allowing them to take their game on the road with the 3DS, and then pick up where they left off on the Wii U when they get home.
The announcement came as part of Nintendo's media presentation today, which also revealed a starting price of $299 for the Wii U, and a release date of November 18 in the US and November 30 in Europe.
