MW3 is all about quantity but not quality.....for all the true gamers, n i mean TRUE gamers, not wanna b's. MW3 is easy to play, easy to understand n the casual player enjoys easy. People that hate on MW have nothing better to do. Stop hating and go play the game you like to play. Btw to gamespot, u guys probably got a cut from the MW team bc ur ratings are ridiculous for this game. If u know about video games this game is no way an 8.5 !!!! but MONEY talks n bullshiiiit walks !!!!

CoD haters are out in force. You all know you're going to buy it anyway, sooner or later MW3 will be in your Xbox or PS3. How is Skyrim better? Two completely different games.

ok..we need a new word to describe games like MW3.they r mixture of understimating gamers and cliche.how a crap with nothing new to offer sell so much upsets me deeply.its like twilight movies...they can be totaly stupid and still there r peoples out there that will gladly spend money on them.just becuz its a MW. infinityward guys didnt made a single inovation in MW3.i felt like playing MW1 or 2 again.what the heck? dont you guys respect gamers? why dont give your so many fans a decent game? why not try to improve a single thing? dont know about you folks but i feel like im being rubbed.blacks ops was ways better than this crap.

Perhaps if people who hate on CoD actually went out and supported unique titles instead of !@#$%ing and moaning about how well CoD is selling, devs would actually strive for some creativity. Complain all you want, but it's your wallets that are going to sway the industry, not acting like a rage induced nerd complaining about a successful franchise.

I liked the single player campaign even if it was a bit to much a bit to often. But all in all I don't see much difference between the last MW ant this MW. IT looks good but it still feels and sounds stiff. So my (extremely) personal opinion is that MW3 has not got anything on BF3 which is a true leap forward driven by nice programming and true game engineering.

The fact is losers still keep bit*hing out off their a*ses BUT MW3 still keep getting more awards and more sales ...

I don't say that MW3 is not a good game, but there are far MORE better alternatives out there. I really enjoyed UC3, Batman AC, Skyrim (still playing), Battlefield 3 and such. All of those are far better games than MW3, but if I need some time for quick fun then I'd pop in MW3 just to relax. Its funny how many 12yr old gamers are out there shouting obscenities.

Woah there are some things that don't belong in that last paragraph Shooter franchise, Star wars and Lord of the rings.

Who cares? Batman Arkham City and Skyrim are WAY better than this crap ha ha. :P

mw3 may makes many records ,but the game is not more than a big hype, hopefully mw4 would be different ....

@importguy why would you lose respect for them bragging about breaking records?!! That's what you're supposed to do when you achieve feats like these! I guarantee you wouldn't say the same thing if Naughty Dog or ICO or whoever made SKYRIM or Dark Souls "bragged" about breaking all time records. Get off the Hate Activision bandwagon

they can post as many statistics all they want, its still a pretty good game, but in my opinion battlefield 3 is still better.

@warhawk-geeby MGS4 was a fantastic game and I still have it up to this day. Sorry to sound like I'm being nitpicky but I thought some of the cutscenes were too long but that's just me. If you think the game is perfect as it is that's fine, I have no problem with that.

Good for them. Also I very rarely run into little kids when I play. If you actually play you will find that most people don't use the mic, and all you have to do is mute the ones that do if you don't want to listen to them. If you played the game and don't like it, I assume you no longer play it. If you haven't played the game don't bash something you haven't tried. It only makes you look like an idiot.

the game is good.....but its not worth the 70$ price tag over here....its hardly worth 30$ for he old visuals and 5 hour campaign

Also, the "If it ain't broken, don't fix it"-argument is nuts. What if the same thing was said about mobile devices? What if the same thing was said about computers, TVs, cars etc....

@cstv Out of interest.. Which PS3 have you got? Old or new? I've got the weekend one launch fat console, and the copy of Skyrim I own doesn't seem to have one flaw at all. Unplayable is a bit extreme surely? The only issue there was seemed to be a frame-rate, but that was seemingly fixed after the updates. There's no problems now anyway.

The shooter franchise is dead. BF3 sucked. CoD has sucked since the WaW. All the friggin kids buying these games are ruining the entire gaming industry.

@warhawk-geeby As much as I love Skyrim it's anything but perfect. It doesn't matter how good a video game is there is no such thing as perfection, but that's my opinion. My most favourite video games of all time will only ever get a 9/10 from me. There will always be something about them that stops them from getting a perfect 10.

It's a nice accomplishment but when Activision starts bragging like this, it just makes me lose my respect for them even more. Oh how I wait for the day their empire crumbles. Enjoy your egotistical high, while it lasts, Activision. I have the bubbly ready when that time comes.

All these people who claim to hate CoD can;t help but read every article about it and have to comment...heh, that is kind of pathetic. I just wonder if most realize that well, their opinion of a game will generally not change another persons. to be honest the whole world war past and futur is a chewed out thing... bf3 is the same as bf2 just better graphics and no one complains about that nothing new just the graphics and in my opinion if u change too much in CoD it isnt CoD. if u dont like it dont buy it and thats it... no rageing about it not complaining for months its good or bad. buy it, play it, if u like it enjoy it CoD or BF it doesnt matter just have FUN ;)

Well, grats to any company having success, afterall a lot of jobs depend on it. And GS being a gaming site, fair enough, i reckon it's relevant enough to be here, even though Activision's shareholders are more likely to frequent the Financial Times and Wall Street Journal rather than Gamespot. I'm just sick 'n tired of this gr8 sales = gr8 game automatism, coz it's the cheapest marketing stunt in the book. Y'know McDonald's makes billions too....which doesn't say anything about the quality of their food. Btw, i don't play CoD, and i don't play BF3, so 'tis not 'bout game bashing, i'm sure you fellas enjoy either one or even both....and good on you. ;)

@Pile91 Nobody (well, nobody rational anyways) say CoD3 is a bad multiplayer game. The problem is: they transformed the shooter market in a "sports game market", where it's acceptable to launch the same game every year with very few changes. That's not good for the industry as creative developers have an even harder time looking for publishers willing to take the risk of NOT making "whatever 12" afte "whatever 11" sold a lot.

before u h8 on the game try it out... i play since the first CoD and bought MW3 and i am not disappointed... it feels like mw2 a little better graphics and better sound and i like it. its a good game and fun to play...

I think that goes for the 110 dollar game people bought. you realize if Activision didn't come up with this Elite crap, they would of took a month to reach a billion. lol
