The Game Initiative has added another track to its series of conferences to be held in Austin, Texas. The Mobile Game Conference will join the Women's Game Conference and the Austin Game Conference in Texas' capital city on September 9 and 10.

Like the other conferences, the MGC is designed for developers in the relatively young world of mobile games. Speakers will hail from the major companies in the sector, including phone manufacturers such as Nokia, service providers like Sprint and Cingular Wireless, and publishers such as Sony. Robert Tercek, industry veteran and executive vice president at wireless publisher Mforma, will deliver the keynote address, and GameSpot's own VP of mobile entertainment, Matthew Bellows, will moderate discussions on international markets and product development.

The AGC is only entering its second year, and with the addition of the Mobile Game Conference and Women's Game Conference, it is widely expanding from its previous online and multiplayer online content. See the MGC's official Web site for more information on the event.
