MLG EVP Adam Apicella says he hopes to have Starcraft II activity in 2014 again

The current relationship between Major League Gaming and Blizzard is something many would probably describe as "tenuous". A few months ago, MLG announced that they would no longer be working together with Blizzard to produce the Starcraft 2 World Championship Series. And while no definitive statement was made, many saw MLG's decision to not run Starcraft 2 at the Pro Circuit Championship in Columbus in November as a further sign of the end times. Still, there may be hope for those hoping to see more Starcraft II at MLG events again. EVP Adam Apicella said on Twitter today,

Though it is unclear as to whether this was pertinent to his tweet about Starcraft II, Apicella later added:

A casual tweet or an indication of the company's renewed interest in Starcraft II? Only time will tell.
