Mortal Kombat 11's first expansion, Aftermath, released back in May, and its launch included a physical edition that bundled the base game with the expansion and Kombat Pack. The Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection is the best option if you're looking to get into the fighting game for the first time, and right now, there's a sweet discount available at Amazon that slashes the price by nearly 50%.

Normally $60, the Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection is down to $33.94 for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One today. If you're interested, we suggest you take advantage of this deal soon, as it'll likely sell out. We've seen the Aftermath Kollection go for around $50 lately, but today's deal offers the best price we've seen yet. It comes with free one-day Prime shipping as well.

The Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath expansion adds three new playable characters to the roster along with new character skin packs. The new playable characters include Fujin, Sheeva, and RoboCop, and you'll also get Shao Khan as a playable character for free with the Aftermath Kollection. The Aftermath expansion also continues the story campaign with brand-new content, which is a first for the franchise. Its epilogue storyline picks up right after the conclusion of the main game, so getting the Aftermath Kollection will let you experience the full MK11 story seamlessly.

Besides the base game and expansion, you'll also get the Kombat Pack DLC, which adds six more characters, skin and gear sets for each add-on character, and six themed skin packs. It's a ton of content, which makes today's deal more than worth it if you've been curious to play Mortal Kombat 11.

The latest entry in the long-running fighting game franchise earned a 9/10 in GameSpot's Mortal Kombat 11 review. "MK11 isn't just a sequel for series fans and NetherRealm devotees, it's a gateway into the realm of fighting games for anyone who has a passing interest in watching ruthless warriors beat each other silly," wrote senior editor Edmond Tran. "Streamlined mechanics keep the act of fighting furiously exciting no matter what your skill level, and comprehensive tutorials encourage you to dig into the nitty-gritty. There's a diverse roster of interesting characters and playstyles, and the story mode is an entertaining romp. The randomization of Krypt rewards and the odd issue with the game's always-online nature can occasionally chip away at your patience, but Mortal Kombat 11 absolutely hits where it matters."
