The first trailer for Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One has arrived, showing Tom Cruise doing what he does best: running very fast and doing big, scary stunts. The trailer also sets up some of the story and teases something quite dramatic with the tagline, "We all share the same fate."

One of the most exciting stunts teased in the trailer is Cruise's big jump off a cliff on his motorcycle. He actually did this in real life, survived, and they captured it all on film for the movie. Check out the trailer below.

Dead Reckoning: Part One is set for release in theaters on July 14, 2023. Dead Reckoning Part Two, meanwhile, lands on June 28, 2024.

Directed by Mission: Impossible Fallout's Christopher McQuarrie, Dead Reckoning also stars Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, and Simon Pegg. McQuarrie is working with Cruise again for Dead Reckoning Part Two and the movie in which Cruise gets shot into real outer space on a rocket.

While fans have to wait until 2023 to see Cruise in the next Mission: Impossible movie, we'll see him next in Top Gun: Maverick, which releases May 27.
