Mirror's Edge and Its Sequel Are Now Free on Xbox One With EA Access
And EA Sports UFC 2 is coming tomorrow.
The EA Access free game library on Xbox One expands today, November 9, with the addition of Mirror's Edge and its sequel, Catalyst. As with all other Vault games, they are playable in their entirety for as long as you remain a subscriber.
EA Access costs $5 per month or $30 per year and offers discounts and early access in addition to its library of free Vault games. There's no word on if the PC's equivalent service, Origin Access, will also add the games. A PlayStation 4 version of EA Access does not exist.
Catalyst's addition is noteworthy because it was released in June, meaning it was only on sale for five months before going free to EA Access members. That's among the shorter gaps we've seen so far, though other recent additions like Unravel and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 were also fairly quick turnarounds.
Looking ahead, EA will add EA Sports UFC 2 to the EA Access Vault tomorrow, November 10. Additionally, Star Wars Battlefront, which was released in November 2015, is coming to the Vault before the end of 2016.
There are already more than 30 games in the EA Access free game vault, all of which are listed below. Newly added and upcoming games are bolded.
