Tomorrow sees the release of Minecraft Legends, a new spin-off set in Mojang's blocky universe. While Xbox Game Pass subscribers will get the game day one as part of the service, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch fans will have to pay a retail price to experience the action-strategy game. Fortunately, Switch players still have time to grab the deluxe version of the game at a reduced cost, as it's just $44 at Super Shop with GameSpot's exclusive promo code GAMESPOTMCFT.

Super Shop offers free shipping, and while you won't be playing on launch day, orders typically arrive within a few days.

The deluxe edition includes the base game and the Deluxe Skin Pack DLC, which lets you dress your hero and their steed up in several exclusive cosmetic items. This includes one hero skin, four mount skins, and an additional mount skin when it becomes available.

As for the game, Minecraft Legends is an action-strategy game played from a third-person perspective. You'll lead troops into battle against the Piglin hordes, and the united overworld will allow you to team up with other players in cooperative multiplayer.

On GameSpot's sister site Metacritic, Minecraft Legends currently has a Metascore of 72 from 40 reviews, with several critics praising the game for its surprisingly deep strategy mechanics, fun solo play, and accessible gameplay. For more game deals, check out this discount for Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection and get up to 15 games for $10 in this Fanatical promotion.

And while you're checking out this Minecraft Legends deal, you may also want to grab discounted preorders for two of the most-anticipated Switch games: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Pikmin 4. GameSpot readers can preorder Tears of the Kingdom for $60 and Pikmin 4 for $49.
