Minecraft developer Jens Bergensten has revealed several pictures of updated player character models with skinnier arms.

Posted on Twitter, the pictures showed a side-by-side comparison of the current models next to their slimmer-arm counterparts. The new models sport arms that are three pixels wide, making them one pixel thinner than the original models currently used. Bergensten described the models as a "possible feature for the future", and that they would be optional.

Earlier this month, Minecraft hit the 16 million sales mark on the PC and Mac, with total figures across mobile, console, and PC hitting 54 million units. The game is scheduled to be released in August for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PlayStation Vita.

What do you think; would you switch over to the new model? Let us know in the comments below.
