Microsoft has announced Minecraft Realms, an Xbox Live-powered multiplatform version of Minecraft. It will allow for cross-play with iOS, Windows 10, Android, and Gear VR. Furthermore, Microsoft also announced that Minecraft Realms has dedicated server support, which allows you to host your own Minecraft worlds for your friends to visit. That means you can also be offline while your friends build on your server.

Minecraft Realms is out now on iOS, Windows 10, Android, and Gear VR.
