Midway has announced that the Kuju Entertainment-developed helicopter action game Fire Blade has shipped to stores and is currently on shelves for the PlayStation 2. The game features 18 levels that span four different campaigns, and players are able to use a multitude of weapons, including standard machine guns and missiles, as well as zoomed-in sniper cannons, rail guns, and a vehicle-disabling EMP weapon.

GameSpot recently reviewed Fire Blade, giving it a 7.6. Xbox and GameCube versions of Fire Blade are still in development, both currently scheduled for a November release.
