Midtown Madness Goes Gold

Microsoft's Chicago racer is set in gold and readied for retail.

Microsoft's Midtown Madness has gone gold and should appear on store shelves in the next two to three weeks.

Midtown Madness is the newest game in Microsoft's Madness series (Motorcross Madness, Monster Truck Madness), which features competitive racing throughout the streets of Chicago in a variety of vehicles, including licensed Ford automobiles like the new Mustang GT and F-350 pickup. Flowing and congested traffic, weather, pedestrians, and other obstacle - plus multiplayer gaming - round out the package.

Coincidentally, the art lead for Midtown Madness, Kiki Wolfkill, took second place in the Women's Global GT Championship Race in Atlanta last weekend.
