Midnight Club Soundtrack Set

Rockstar reveals the contributors to the soundtrack for its PS2 racing game Midnight Club.

Rockstar Games has announced the final soundtrack for its upcoming PlayStation 2 street-racing game, Midnight Club. House and techno artists Derrick May and Surgeon and drum 'n' bass band Dom & Roland will provide the music tracks in the game.

"We are honored to have such musical visionaries as Derrick May, Dom & Roland, and Surgeon creating the soundtrack for Midnight Club," states Terry Donovan, COO of Rockstar Games. "Their passion for creating superior music versus conforming to the industry standard is what makes them and their music truly unique. Although their styles are obviously completely different, they share an important common thread - the musical expression of disenfranchised inner-city life, which is obviously a perfect soundscape to represent the dark motivation of the members of the Midnight Club."

"I had a great time at Angel Studios seeing Midnight Club actually being made," said Dom & Roland. "Racing through the streets of London in Midnight Club is an incredible feeling - to have the opportunity to put music to this experience is inspiring."

Midnight Club will be released alongside the PlayStation 2 on October 26.
