Rockstar Games today announced the launch of the Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Web site. Developed by Rockstar San Diego, Midnight Club 3 concentrates on the ever-expanding catalog of tuner-car racing titles such as Need for Speed Underground 2, Street Racing Syndicate, and the forthcoming Juiced. As the title suggests, the game is partnered with DUB magazine, a leading automobile fetishist monthly.

The Web site takes a peek under the hood of Midnight Club 3, allowing browsers to view some of the cars that will be featured in the racer. There are screenshots and streaming videos of in-game footage as well as detailed information on the automobiles.

The site is modeled like a parking garage, with several levels featuring different classes of automobiles. As of now, users can peruse SUVs and import tuners, and outfit them with various body sets, rims, and paint jobs. Classic cars, concept cars, bikes, and more will be available as the site undergoes construction.

Midnight Club 3 features four modes: arcade, career, cruise, and online. Locales included in the game are Atlanta, Detroit, and San Diego. The game is angled toward the arcade racing crowd, with complicated tricks and nitrous-fueled shortcut jumps that contribute to the white-knuckled action.

Midnight Club 3 is one of several high-profile racing titles that experienced delays getting out of the shop last year, but it will finally hit the asphalt February 22 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox.
