Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor exclusive preorder bonuses revealed
Fans can unlock a bonus rune for protagonist Talion when preordering.

Monolith has revealed the preorder bonuses for upcoming Lord of the Rings prequel, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
Fans who preorder the game via Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, or Steam will be able to access a specific bonus for the main character Talion, depending on the retailer chosen.
Those who preorder via Amazon will be able to access the Deadly Archer rune, which allows Talion to deal extra damage when firing ranged headshots again Sauron's Captains.
Fans who go with Best Buy will get the Flame of Arnor rune, which grants Talion the ability to ignite his blade by executing a high combo count, which can incinerate enemies.
GameStop will be offering preorders the Captain of the Watch/Hidden Blade rune, which grants Talion extra damage when performing stealth attacks against Sauron's Captains.
Finally, fans who preorder on Steam will be granted access to the Orc Slayer rune, which gives Talion extra damage when carrying out special attacks against Sauron's Captains.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is coming to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 7 this year. Monolith has confirmed that the game is definitely not a "movie game", but entirely original.
