but if you must know, i had an account on GS since 2005, i did not access that account for several years and i do not even have access to the email addrr associated with it so i created a new one.

MS is not trying to control anything, you can STILL give AWAY your physical COPY ALL YOU WANT, what part of that you did not understand?

MS is giving you and OPTION NOT to DO that, if you do not like online sharing DONT USE THE DANG THING and stop complaining about options.

we were talking about sharing not kinnect and connectivity.

but if you must, MS already explained how kinnect works, and you can turn that feature off. Kinnect is now part of the console, like the controller. what kinnect does is up to the owner.

Always being connected is also part of the model, you need to look at the whole picture.

you say that not being able to play offline, always has to be connected, only able to sell your games to certain retail shops, kinetic ALWAYS has to be connected, is an extra option? all I see is that MS is trying to control you on what you can do with your games

but they are not the same, with XO you can share the game with 10 people who can access the game WITHOUT having to KNOCK at your door and get the PHYSICAL copy.

if you still fee the need to share your physical copy, then you can still do it.

Oh but wait the PS4 ALLOWS you to even play the multiplayer online when you are borrowing, unlike X-1 where they are still even unsure if you can.

@NoAngle @Fryboy101 @freedom01 Ok, let me remember what Major Nelson said on that interview, he said while one person plays a game another person CANNOT play the same game, it is like a library, when one is checked out, the other has to wait. And he also said on the shared games only SINGLE player games are playable, multiplayer is still in question. Sharing is same thing with PS4 only ONE at a TIME,

you can share an XO game with 10 people without the need to physically giving them your physical copy to be scratched. but you can still give it away if for some wacko reason you feel the need to...

Sony is not doing ANYTHING, while MS is allowing you to share your game with 10 people. SONY will only let you share your physical copy of the game. if you want to share your PS4 game with someone, you'll have to give him the disc.

allowing is not equal limiting. you can still give/lend you physical copy of an XO game, but it is unnecessary since you can just grant him/her access which is more civilized and easier and you will not have to replace a scratched disc anymore.

@Fryboy101 @NoAngle @freedom01 exactly what Fryboy said, what MS is doing completely opposite of Sony, MS restricts you, while Sony doesnt, so if your gonna protect your so called "read the official", YOU should read it more carefully and understand, since I read their official and listened to their Interviews and know what Im talking about

@NoAngle @freedom01 have you been paying attention? what XO is doing is nowhere near the same as what PS4 is doing. you can hand out your game freely on the PS4, but with the one, you have to be online during the check or you can't play it, it's only with a select number of people you can let play, and those people require an hourly check or else they can't play it either, and when you trade your game to someone else that isn't in that select group, you can't get it back to play it. I really don't know how that's the same as what Sony is doing with the PS4. Maybe it's you who should be doing some reading on "official stuff" and stop listening to stupid rumors
