Microsoft's Xbox One games will be $60

Here's what really ticks me off, I have spend $60 on a xbox or playstation game, when i can get the exact same game new on PC for $30. All your paying for is the Xbox/PS logo on the box, it doesn't cost any more to produce console games than it does PC games.

Difference is you'll spend $60 to own a PS4 game, and $60 to rent a Xbox One game

Well at least this ends the myth that DRM for consoles will result in cheaper games.

Wait, wasn't the whole purpose of having the DRM system is, according to publishers, to stop piracy and to loss of sales with used games? Yet Microsoft have all this restriction put in place and still have the audacity to charge 60 dollars for a digital game? They had an opportunity here to have the cheapest games but once again their greed go in the way.

I remember when comes used to be $70-$90 back in the 90s and 80s. Good times.

I've been gaming for over 35 years and cannot wait for xb1. I want AAA games. I want to follow my fantasy teams. I want to use skype. Can't wait to check out Illumaroom.

first i told everybody the new consoles weren't going to be 7-800 dollars,then i told people the games were proabably gooing to stay at 60....idk why it was so hard to belive

$60??? Man, game rental prices have really skyrocketed.

At least MS did one thing right by not increasing the game prices. But still wondering if I should buy the Xbox or just be smart and go for the PS4.

I think I'll buy a PS4 AND 1 game for $460 instead of an XboxOne with 0 games for $500 :p

see now im a pc gamer also i have steam games quite alot but they where cheap thing about digital games you dont own it they can take it off you whenever they like now paying such a high price for something you dont physically own is unacceptable to me

It's good to see they aren't moving up to $70. Hopefully digital copies will run for a bit less than this.

If Microsoft carries on with the stupid DRM, they should sell games at lower prices than on PS4.
