Microsoft Will Talk Xbox Series X Games Soon, Says Phil Spencer

Looks like we can expect to hear additional details about Microsoft's next-gen plans soon.

It looks like Microsoft will have more to say about the games coming to Xbox Series X soon. On Twitter, Xbox head Phil Spencer hinted that it won't be too much of a wait until we get another announcement in regards to Microsoft's next-gen plans.

"Reviewed plans [April 22] for continued sharing through launch," Spencer wrote on Twitter. "Team is doing great work and adapting. I've never been more excited about Xbox plans. We've heard you, you want transparency/authenticity. We plan to keep showing that way, next step is not too much of a wait (games)."

Now Playing: Xbox Series X - Quick Resume Tech Demo

So far, Microsoft has been steadily drip-feeding information about its next-gen hardware. We know what the Xbox Series X looks like, what its specs are, and how its controller stacks up to PS5's DualSense.

However, not too much is known about games yet. Currently, Microsoft has only confirmed Halo Infinite as a launch title for Xbox Series X. Hellblade II: Senua's Sacrifice will be released for Xbox Series X, but it hasn't been confirmed as a launch title. CD Projekt Red has announced a next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 will be developed, but it won't be ready by the time Xbox Series X launches. Xbox Series X will support backwards compatibility though, so players can at least expect all Xbox One and select Xbox and Xbox 360 titles to be playable on Series X at launch.
