Microsoft ships Whacked!

Microsoft has today announced that Whacked! for the Xbox has shipped to stores nationwide. Whacked! is an Xbox Live-compatible multiplayer game in which up to eight players do battle using around 40 different weapons and power-ups against the backdrop of a bizarre game show gone wrong. Arenas in the game include such diverse settings as an arctic pipeline, the back of a car, beneath a Christmas tree, and a kitchen sink.

Last month, Microsoft 2881602confirmed that a trial version of Whacked! will be bundled with Xbox Live starter kits when they're released in November. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
