Microsoft delays MechAssault downloads

Microsoft has sent out an announcement stating that the downloadable MechAssault content--including new maps and mechs--originally scheduled for release in January will not make it out by the end of the month. According to the release, the need for additional testing and preparation is the cause of the delay.

No firm release date for the new content has been given at this time, though Microsoft assured us that it will be available soon. We'll have more on this as it develops.
