Microsoft and Climax have announced an agreement in which the software giant will develop the back-end technology for Climax's Warhammer Online project. Microsoft will use the experience of its Windows Third Party Gaming Group in overseeing the creation of the e-commerce system and other online gaming features. The massively multiplayer game will take the world's most successful tabletop fantasy battle gaming system online, and it is expected to take two to three years to develop.
