Michael B. Jordan will star in an upcoming movie based on the Tom Clancy novel Rainbow Six, according to The Hollywood Reporter. John Wick director Chad Stahelski will direct.

Jordan will play John Clark, the same character he played in the 2021 movie Without Remorse, which is also based on a Clancy book. Willem Dafoe played John Clark in Clear and Present Danger (1994) and Liev Schreiber portrayed the character in 2002's The Sum of All Fears.

No plot details were made available about the Rainbow Six movie. The novel also spawned the popular Rainbow Six video game series, which continues to fly high thanks to the enduringly popular Rainbow Six Siege.

Stahelski directed the first three John Wick movies and is coming back for 2023's Chapter 4. Beyond the Rainbow Six film, he is lined up to direct the Ghosts of Tsushima movie based on the PlayStation game.

Jordan is known for his starring role in the Creed series of boxing films and for playing Killmonger in 2018's MCU movie Black Panther.
