Metro: Last Light and Metro 2033 for PS4 teased in new video

I've played both 2033 and last light. imho they were good, but not that good. The story and the setting were very interested, but I felt the gunplay was lacking a bit. Because I rented them both I short of rushed through them. Perhaps a next gen combo pack would get me back into the Metro.

I never got to play the 2033, I definitely want both of these games I enjoyed the singleplayer experience alot!

In my opinion we need more FPS games like Metro and less like Wolfenstein.

Cool if you don't already own them. Bring STALKER to the consoles and i'll bite.

Easily one of the best single player franchises last gen. I played through both but I think I'll pick this up for the ps4.

for PS4 owners that never played either they are two very good games. For those that want to own them, better get them on PC. I bought the first one for like $4 on Steam and the other for $30.

I would totally buy a remade version of the first game provided it didn't suck ass.

I'd totally get it for Ps4. Loved Metro 2033 on PC, never got Last Light on Ps3 so this sounds win win for me. I'm also fairly certain the second video capture is from Last Light, cause that looks like the goggle clearing animation.. which if I remember correctly wasn't implemented until Last Light?

Old title best played on PC. I don't see this running at a stable 60fps and 1080p.

Might be worth a look but one has to wonder if the console ports will have a massive graphics downgrade or horrible performance issues.

The PC versions of the Metro games look great but are poorly optimized

Can't to play this on the PS4.

if you like Metro, try STALKER i personally think its slightly better. its about as believable as Metro2033, but i think slightly more believable. If you dont worry about the side missions and just play it from start to finish.

I am interested in this because I read all the comments below and everybody wants it so if they are going to have it I want it too.

metro 2033 is much better than Last Light imo, Last Light dialogue felt like a cheesy comic book.

i definitely am interested. I heard a lot of good things about it and damn i need to have a new game on my ps4. Its making me sad.

The Metro series is amazing. People who have been curious about the game should grab this when its out.

Hopefully this isnt a rush job. Crytek need to do Crysis 2 and 3 on Ps4 as well.

Metro Last Light still sets a pretty high bar when it comes to PC graphics. Other than porting these to the new consoles I can't imagine they will get anywhere near the kind of upgrade Tomb Raider got, i can't see it being possible.

Metro i still havent decide if i want this game i might as well play bit more metro last light so i can decide for myself.

Played them all on PC, based on that Vine video, looks like Jaggy City for the X1.

I didn't play 2033, but Last Light, even on consoles which is inferior (it's fact, unless you can't play with a mouse and keyboard...) was a game in my top five last year. I wouldn't go out and buy every single upgraded game, but this, along with The Last of Us is one I'd totally go out and get. Wolfenstein to a small degree actually reminds me of this.

Have not played last light so this is good for me, but 2033 was nothing special really it was ok. Lots of people give it more credit than it deserves really imo.

Yeah just saying I got this for 12 bucks on Steam and can play on ultra @ 60 fps.
